I am an IT lecturer based at Rockingham. Besides teaching, I love software development, problem solving and all that sort of stuff as well as learning new things all the time. I have been programming for many years, developing lots of practical solutions, as I believe as a “doer” you become a better teacher. Last year I developed a proof of concept for the logistics section as part of Challenger Tafe’s Mobile Technology project. Rhoda Takiwa is testing this at the moment. While there are some teething problems things seem to being going well. We are already seeing things that can be improved very easily and things that need to be put into stage 2 of the project.
I am looking forward to building a PDA Assessment Tool for the visage team. I love their passion for teaching and their zeal to embrace new technology.
